Kristin Drake

Kristin Drake is a dedicated crop insurance agent with deep roots in New Mexico agriculture. Raised in Stanley, NM, she graduated from Moriarty High School in 2012 after a childhood shaped by 4-H, FFA, and 12 years of raising and showing livestock. Her passion for agriculture led her to earn a B.S. in Agriculture Education from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales.

After graduation, she began her career as an Ag teacher in Clovis before moving into agricultural lending with Ag New Mexico Farm Credit. Eventually, her path led to crop insurance—where she’s spent the last four years writing and servicing PRF, LRP, Annual Forage, MPCI, and crop hail policies.

She brings real-world insight to her work, including experience building and evaluating APHs, production reporting, and supporting row crop producers growing wheat, triticale, corn, silage sorghum, grain sorghum, and cotton. Her focus is helping ranchers and farmers make confident decisions backed by solid data. Whether she’s working with a cattle rancher in a dry grid or walking a new producer through their first policy, her goal is simple: keep families on the land for generations to come.
