I was raised on a farm and ranch operation in southern Alberta, Canada. There were plenty of years that drought and cattle prices caused some serious hardship for our family. At that time, there weren't any great options for risk management other than getting a second job off the ranch to supplement your income.
Shortly after moving to the USA, I jumped into the crop insurance industry. I enjoy helping farmers and ranchers mitigate risk in order to have some stability in a very unstable industry.
My family is rooted deep in the agriculture industry, so I understand the challenges that growers and ranchers face on a day-to-day basis.
I look forward to continuing to build relationships and helping educate growers and ranchers on the programs that are available to help them.
